Entry Requirements

Admission to the MBA programme is a two-stage process.

Admission to the Professional Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA)

An applicant may be admitted based on evidence to suggest they will be able to fulfil and benefit from the objectives of the programme.

  • Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree qualification in any subject from an institution recognised by the relevant awarding body.

  • Professional Qualification: A professional qualification equivalent to a degree with a minimum of two years of working experience.

  • Mature Entry (without a degree):

    • Hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma with more than six years of work experience, of which at least two years are at a supervisory/managerial level.

    • Without a Diploma qualification but with more than eight years of work experience, of which at least three years are at a supervisory/managerial level.

  • English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English to participate in the programme, which is taught in English.

  • Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL): Consideration may be given for prior certificated or experiential learning.

Admission to the Lincoln University MBA Degree

To be admitted to the MBA Degree, you must:

  • Have successfully completed the Professional Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) or an equivalent qualification.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Lincoln University Senate; or

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a CGPA below 2.50, subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field; or

  • Hold other qualifications recognised by the relevant authorities.

  • Demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 500, or other equivalent qualifications.
