Why Apprenticeship from LEB?

The apprentice pays nothing. Basically, if the employer has a payroll bill of over £3 million per annum it pays into the apprenticeship levy and there is no further fees for it to pay for apprenticeship training.

However, if your company has an annual payroll bill of less than £3 million (or if your levy-paying organisation has used up all its levy funds) there is a co-investment route available. This is where the government pays 95% of the cost. Under the co-investment route, your employer’s cost is spread over the duration of the programme.

3. Skills and Competencies Required:

To rock it as a Level 4 CYPF Practitioner, there are some key skills and competencies you need to have in your toolkit:

a) Empathy and Active Listening: Being able to listen actively and empathetically is super important. It helps you connect with children, young people, and their families, building trust and providing the right support.

b) Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You’ve got to be an awesome communicator! You need to convey information clearly and sensitively, adapting your approach to suit different individuals and families.

c) Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: You’ll face complex challenges daily, so having strong critical thinking skills is a must. It helps you assess risks, come up with creative solutions, and make informed decisions.

d) Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working: Collaboration is the name of the game! You’ll work alongside other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders, so being a team player and building partnerships are crucial. Together, you can provide comprehensive support to children, young people, and families.

4. Impact and Rewards of Being a CYPF Practitioner:
