Apprenticeships

These are Government levy-funded work-based programmes for anyone subject to PAYE in England.  Organisations that pay into this levy use their funds for this training.  Other organisations may also use these funds through a co-investment scheme – basically they pay 5% of the cost and the government pays the 95% balance 

LEB delivers these work-based programmes where individuals will gain the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours required from the programme. Individuals on programme must apply their learning on the job and evidence this.  Organisations must support these individuals during the programme.  Becoming a work-based learner ensures the knowledge, skills and behaviours gained and applied on the job will help the individuals career progression, motivation and productivity to help the organisation drive growth and profitability
