Delivery Mode and Programme Structure
Highly interactive and intensive with five full days of group sessions with an emphasis on your participation, for example through brain storming. This promotes cross fertilization of ideas and experiences.

Module learning outcomes shall enable you to:

- Apply a strategic framework to support a sustainable competitive strategy
- Analyse and use selected analytical tools, for example “Blue Ocean Strategy”
- Evaluate alternative strategies and be able to understand the process of selecting the best one(s)

- Understand what strategy is and the relationship between vision, mission and strategy
- Strategy formulation—the “SWOT” approach
- Conceptual models for strategy development including cost leadership, differentiation and cost focused strategy and “Blue Ocean Strategy”
- Analyzing the phases in strategy development including examining any competitive advantage and predicting future trends
- Creating and selecting strategy alternatives

Module learning outcomes shall enable you to:
- Understand the role of marketing and the marketing perspective
- Understand what marketing does, its tools and thought processes in the 21st Century
- Identify the “Five Ps” of marketing (Positioning, Product, Pricing, Placement/Channels and Promotion) and their Importance to business success
- Identify the changes and trends affecting the “Five Ps”, and the how to better manage their impact in the marketplace
- Apply some marketing tools to each of the “Five Ps” and linking them to formulate a marketing plan
