FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

An apprenticeship is a work-based programme so anyone who lives and eligible to work in the England can apply. It is suitable for anyone looking to improve their job prospects or aspiring to accelerate their career.

The apprentice pays nothing (apart from the optional MBA).

Basically, if the employer has a payroll bill of over £3 million per annum, it pays into the apprenticeship levy and there is no further fees for it to pay for apprenticeship training.

However, if your company has a wage bill of less than £3 million per year (or if your levy paying organisation has used up all its levy funds) there is a co-investment route available. This is where the government pays 95% of the cost. Under the co-investment route your employer’s cost is spread over the 15-month duration.
